Stop scrolling and stay focused with Kappi

Kappi is a screen time blocker for iPhone and iPad. It uses Apple's Screen Time to block the apps that pull you into scrolling, during the hours you choose or whenever you start a focus session. A little pixel-art kappa keeps you company. Protect your focus and his bowl stays full. Override a block and it drains.

What does Kappi do?

Blocks the apps you pick

Choose single apps or whole categories like social and games. Kappi blocks them with Apple's Screen Time, the same system behind iOS app limits.

Focus Now and schedules

Tap Focus Now to block distractions for one session. Or set rules for the parts of your day you want protected, like mornings or work hours.

As strict as you need

Normal rules let you tap Leave anyway when you really need an app. Hard Mode and Allow Only rules don't allow unblocks at all.

A kappa who notices

Your focus shows up in Kappi's bowl. It stays full when you stick to your rules and drains when you override a block. A home screen widget shows how he's doing.

Who is Kappi for?

Kappi is for anyone who picks up their phone for one thing and loses an hour to scrolling. It suits students, people working from home and anyone who wants a blocker that feels friendly. When friendly isn't enough, Hard Mode is there.

Can Kappi see which apps I block?

No. Apple gives Kappi private tokens instead of app names, so your choices stay on your device and never reach me.

How much does Kappi cost?

Kappi is free to download. Blocking needs Kappi Plus. Kappi Plus costs $39.99 a year with a 7-day free trial (US price as of October 2026). You can cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.

Works on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18.0 or later. Not available on Android.
